According to weather underground Irene is drawing near. Here’s the latest predicted track. She’s expected to sweep by us Friday night into Saturday. At this point we are under tropical storm warning.
I have water and food on hand and if need be the closet is emptied and almost ready. I have flashlights, batteries and other supplies in a box that we can quickly grab.
My Oklahoma Peeps, Here’s the closet you need for tornadoes! This closet is fortified! From what I know can handle hurricane winds! To be honest, I laughed when I was told this is the hurricane shelter! My comment: “What happens if it floods?!”
Monday and Tuesday we had some thunderstorms that knocked out electricity so I wouldn’t be surprised if we’re out of electricity Friday night and Saturday.
